Maggie,
In looking thru tax records, I see James Esq. had some land in Franklin Twp from 1822 to 1833, when he sold it to John Blakeley. The land had a tannery on it. Was John his son?
If so, and this is all an assumption on my part, when did James and his wife (Jane?) move to Ohio?
