Moore in Roster of North carolina Troops in the War Between the States, v. 2, Ashe & Gatling, 1882, William J. Blakely enlisted October 25, 1861 in Mecklenburg Co. and was wounded in 1864.

Notes for Zella Roseman:
As of July 1996, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Zella is remembered fondly by the children of h sister, Iva Roseman Joy, as "being a rip" with a great sense of humor, and keeping everyone laughing. She and Mark lived in Many locations, lastly in the Weddington neighborhood east of Charlotte, NC, adjacent to one of their children.
