My Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Grandfather was Charles Blakely (Blackley) born about 1736 in Ireland. Died Oct. 1816 in Knox Co. TN. The information I have is. Charles Blakley as a neighboring land owneer on a deed filed by James Davies of Mongomery Co. on a tract of land containg 200 acres on the Middle Fork of the Holston River, of which Charles was one of three land owners on the west side of the old Patent line. Charles died in 1816 at his Creek homestead in Knox Co. TN. I don't know if this is of any help to you. You can contact me anytime at gailsnail66@aol.com I have other information on him.
