Janey: I just discovered this site and read your post. I'm looking for anything on my grandfather, whose name is very different: Dorsey Conger Blakely. He had brothers with "different" names, too -- Wheeler and Volney Blakely. My grandpa married Mittie Robinson. So you see there are other names!
