Looking for information on John Blakely
John married Elizabeth May (here Parents are Adam May or Penn. and Elizabeth Bott or Maryland). They were married in Rockingham County, VA and later moved to Augusta Co., Va.
Robert Blakely (Blakeley according to Civil war records) b. 1828. d. 5/3/1863 at the battle of Chancellorvile, Va. He married Sarah Mccauley on 7/8/1852 in Augusta Co. Va and they had 2 children that I know of.
John Robert Blakely b. 6/7/1853 d. 1902 married Martha Eve Fridley b. april 1855 in Augusta County, Va. They had 9 Children.
James William Blakely b. may 1897 d. 1936 in a car wreck. Married Nora Viola Buchanan b. 1901 in Middlebrook, Va. They had 4 children. She died in 1936 of Pneumonia.
Nancy Viola Blakely b. 1928 in Gloucester, Va
Married Bennent Moore of Boaz, Alabama on 6/30/1946.

this is here line from the blakely side. We are stuck on John Blakely and Elizabeth May. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will share.
