I'm not related but have info on this mission. Sgt Alton Blakely was Radar Operator on B-29 "Sting Shift" Z Square 30, 73rd Bomb Wing, 882nd Bomber Sq, 500th Bomber Group that was MIA on mission 181 probably over Tokyo (5/23/1945). Crew: Pilot 1/Lt Hughes KIA; Copilot 2/Lt McClure POW; Bombadier 1/Lt Crow KIA; Navigator 1/Lt O'Hara KIA; Flt Eng 2/Lt Ryalls KIA; Radio T/Sgt Franklin KIA; Gunners PFC Wallace, Sgt Moore, Sgt Johnson, Sgt Salaz all KIA.

Mission flown from Isely Field, Saipan. WWII Memorial Honolulu, Hi
