Thanks for the reply, Laura. What county in Ohio is East Liverpool? I don't know where my John H. was born but he lived in western Ohio, Shelby County, later in his life. I assume he died there but have not been able to find anything. I hope more people respond to this query because I am just beginning to sort out who is who. Besides having sons James, Samuel, William and Bert (Robert?) he had a daughter Alice. Let's keep in touch and maybe with some additional information we'll find out that that all the repeated family names were more than coincidence. Janet
