Most of the Scottish Blakely's (my Grandfather was one of them), were actually from Ireland. A heap of them came over to Scotland from Northern Ireland during the 19th century and settled in Larkhall. (near Glasgow)
My Grandfather was Robert Blakely and his father and mother were James Blakely and Rebecca Porter.
