Searching for information on several children of James Wilson Blakely and wife, Sarah Rankin "Sallie" Simpson of Laurens County, South Carolina. Below is a short genealogy of the family. I am searching for information on the following daugthers: Pearl Blakely (born September 1880); Sally Blakely (born September 1886); and Annie Blakely (born August 1889). I do believe that there is another child as Sarah Rankin "Sallie" Simpson Blakely noted that she had 9 children and all were living in 1900.
James Wilson Blakely (3 September 1846-11 May 1921) married Sarah Rankin "Sallie" Simpson (21 July 1849-30 June 1918…note: death certificate lists date of birth as 23 July 1849) on 11 January 1872, and lived in the Scuffletown area of Laurens County, South Carolina. The children of James Wilson and Sarah Rankin "Sallie" Simpson Blakely were: Alice Elizabeth Blakely (3 February 1873-11 October 1911) married William James Benjamin (9 August 1874-3 December 1941…note: World War I Registration lists date of birth of as 7 August 1874); Alexander Ross Blakely (4 March 1874-2 April 1937) married Rachel Frances Davis (11 April 1878-28 August 1964); Margaret Zell "Maggie" Blakely (1 October 1875-16 January 1969) married Charles Palmer Robinson (21 July 1875-4 October 1936); DeeDee Blakely (born February 1879) married Lemuel George Benjamin (born 28 March 1876) and lived in Darlington County, South Carolina; Pearl Blakely (born September 1880); Ola Mae Blakely (born May 1884) married James Patrick Kilgo (15 February 1885-23 July 1945) and lived in Darlington County, South Carolina; Sallie Blakely (born September 1886); and Annie Blakely (born August 1889).
