Charles Lee Blakely in Alabama

I am helping my son-in-law trace some of his family lines. He has an ancestor named Charles Lee Blakely (Blakley?) that lived in Lauderdale Co. Alabama. I think he was born in 1842 and fought in the Civil War. If anyone can provide any more info about this family I would really appreciate the help!
