Graceanne,
I believe the reason Elizabeth Bryson moved to MS is, at lease one of her children were there. Margaret Bryson m. Alfred O'Shields and he is living in Tishomingo, Ms in 1860 according to the census. They were in Laurens in 1850.
Margarett died in 1857-58. Alfred married Cathrine
( Kate)Pitts in 1862
