Thanks so much, George. With this information, I was able to access information in "Families of Ancient New Haven" by Jacobus. It turns out Loana Blakely's grandson, Alfred Lloyd Hitchcox (my grandfather) married his sixth cousin once removed, Erva Rosenberry, whose descent from the emigrant Samuel Blakeslee of New Haven is: Samuel > Ebenezer > Jacob > Anna. Anna m. Amos Bronson, had 12 children, including Anna, who m. J. C. Alcox and was the mother of Amos Bronson Alcott and grandmother of Louisa May Alcott; Zerah Bronson who married Aaron Welton. The rest of the line follows: Junius Welton > Emeline Sarah Welton m. Daniel Bristol Hitchcock > Mary Amelia Hitchcock m. Samuel C. Rosenberry > Erva Rosenberry m. Alfred Lloyd Hitchcox. If you'd like clarification of this line (I know it's confusing)let me know. There were a lot of Blakelys and Blakeslees in Greene County, N.Y. It appears Loana had a brother, Isaac. Did she have other siblings? Thanks again for your help. Erva Hitchcox Barton
