My gggrandfather William H. Blakely b. May 13, 1840 in Monroe Co., Indiana, fought for the north during the civil war. He was in the 54th Regiment Volunteer Infantry. He mustered in in Indianapolis June 10, 1862. I am looking for any information on his father Alexander reportedly born in Kentucky.
