My gg grandfather, Zera Blakely was born about 1797 in NY.
I've been given the names James Blakely b. 26 Oct 1760 and
Ruth Root as being his parents. Zera married (I think secondly)
Harriet Strong, 30 January 1842, Gallia County, OH. They were
in Independence Co. AR before 1860. He was apparently
killed in the Civil War. Does anyone know these Blakelys?
