CHARLOTTE KELLEY/KELLY Wife of Greenleaf Blake
Posted by: Brenda (ID *****0537) Date: October 24, 2010 at 12:27:30

Charlotte was born in Candia, Rockingham, New Hampshire dated October 29, 1784 the daughter of Dr. Timothy Kelly and Joanna Newcomb (I have the original book page ; Record of Marriages, Births and Deaths in Candia 1743-1863).

She is the brother to my Horatio Kelly also born in Candia dated Febry 5 1787.

I have located the Revolutionary War Pension of her mother Joanna and it reported that for 50 years her mother maintained the Kelly/Kelley family Bible and wonder if anyone has ever seen this?? One would have to assume with the lack of Vital Records she maintained her family in these pages as the Births of her children were fully reported to the Federal Government and all listed.
