Etheldred Blake of Montgomery NC

My line descends from Samuel Blake, brother of Etheldred. There were also brothers named John, James, Benjamin and Thomas. All were born in Southampton County, Va and survived active service in the Continental Army. At least three, possibly all five, emigrated to North Carolina at some point in time immediately following the Revolution.
Our first Blake was Thomas, (1640-1707/08). 1669 m. Alice Champion and settled land granted by Gov. Wm. Berkeley in Isle of Wight Co. (now Capron, Va.)
son William (1670's-1746). 1703 m. Mary Sessums (1685-1746...) one of the first Anglican churches in Southampton (formerly a part of Isle of Wight Co)"was located on William Blake's plantation" (Etheldred's grandfather.)
son Thomas (1705?-1789)is cloudy... wife's name unknown at this point, but he is father to the five brothers listed above.
You have narrowed the emigration date to prior 1784, with the birth of Uncle Ethelred's son in Montgomery.
Thank You
