I'm looking for any information about the Blake family that has lived in Belknap, Michigan, Hagensville, Michigan and Presque Isle , Michigan. My great great grandfather, Samuel Blake was born somewhere in England circa 1839. He lived in norther lower Michigan. He married Athalia Bowles, and gave birth to Joseph Blake circa 1876. Athalia later died in Royal Oak, Michigan, so I believe the family eventually moved south to suburban Detroit.
Other Blake's in my line include Thomas Blake (1914 - 1969), Margaret Blake, Samuel Blake (1913-2003), and Sidney Blake (1919 - ?)
Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
