im not sure if harrison is a middle or maiden name of another ancester but to let you know what ive found so dfar the first time i found harrison in the family name as a middle name is in the mid 1600's when archibald blair married one sarah harrison from their line i found a number of people that befgan to have harrison as a middle name or even a first name. I however have not connected my harrison (william harrison blair) of logan county west virginia 's john smith blair and his wife and polly basiden blair to that group of blairs because i have trouble getting past john smith. His dad is supposed to be john ancel blair and ester davis is his mom but i havent verified this yet. only that john ancel lived his life in greenbrier virgina and i think ( not sure) that greenbrier is now a different county in kentucky or west virgina one. hope i helped a tiny bit with the harrison part. If the name existed before that i have not found it.
