My grandfather's name was Sam Eldridge Blailock and he also came from Leake County, MS. That would be in the Thomastown area - lots of Blailocks still there. Sounds like they may have been related considering the Eldridge name. Sam lived and died in McComb as an adult and was a conductor on the Illinois- Central Railroad for years. Let me know if you would like more info on that Blailock branch.
