The family of Squier Junius Blagg and his wife Mary A. Masters Blagg seem to have immigrated to ILL. (I don't know which county). He was b. 1849 I THINK in Gallia Co OH. He m. Mary Masters (b. 1855) in 1872. They had the following children:
Elizabeth (who was m. in ILL)
HENRY
Thomas A. (b. KY, m. Mary Wilson
Margaret, m. George Karicofe
Belle
Jennie C., m. C. P. Harmon
William C., b. ILL 1889
Ethel, b. ILL
Myrtle, b. ILL
HENRY
Thomas A. (b. KY, m. Mary Wilson
Margaret, m. George Karicofe
Belle
Jennie C., m. C. P. Harmon
William C., b. ILL 1889
Ethel, b. ILL
Myrtle, b. ILL
That son HENRY may be your grandfather...
That son HENRY may be your grandfather...For the record, Squier Junius Blagg was the son of Henry J. and Phoebe Fox Blagg who were m. in 1848. He was b. 1812 in Highland Co VA and died there in 1862 from fever brought home to Doe Hill by his Confederate soldier nephew Abraham S. Blagg (b. 1840) who was the ancestor of the current resident of the old Blagg homsetead at Doe Hill VA. I have seen Henry J. Blaggs grave behind that house, along with the dozen or so other Blaggs who died from that same fever...
