Re THomas Blades (born about 1780)...My 3rd great grandmother was Sarah IRELAND. The marriage registration I found, John IRELAND to Sarah BLADES, said they married in 1826. I also found a marriage in 1818 of George SMITH to Sarah BLADES (He DIED in 1820)
After this I was looking in the Colonial Secretary's Index and came across the reference of Sarah BLADES arriving on the "Broxbornebury" in 1814 as the wife of Thomas Blade(s)and in the same reference referring to Sarah SMITH (the widow) of THomas Blades.
I would appreciate any information you could give me regarding this person. (assuming I am on the right track)
