Hi Elizabeth. I have nuberous Blades in my tree. I have a Samuel and Martha Blades (no Maiden name for Martha though)
I have them having one son Jehu b. 1801 in Fayette Co. KY. There could have had more but I have not followed this line out, so any help there would be appreciated if we are talking the same family. Jehu married Mary King ( no dates)Mary had a sister Francis King who married into my Regan line
I also have a Richard and Mary West( no Maiden name for Mary ) I have them having one daughter named Elizabeth b. 1812 and there may have been more as I have not followed that line either. Elizabeth married a David Wood. Following the wood line backit intersects with my Regan line.
I wonder if the Mary West noted above is the Beneficarie that you are looking for. or possibly they had a daughter named Mary Ann and she might have married Benjamin Blades
