Luke Blades (ca1745 - ca1805/6), parents, siblings, place of birth, if/where before NC area, all unknown. Previous "history" before middle 1770's unknown, except the supposed Indian story was proved false many moons ago, by record, and NC.
The area involved was present Catawba Co NC, but which had been Rowan, and then Burke, and Lincoln for our "saga". Luke had married a Catherine (unknown/unlisted/undocumented/unproved/unindicated surname)about 1770, and their children were: unidentified female 1770, unidentified female 1773, John 1774/5, unidentified female 1777, Isaac 1779 , Jane 1781, Margaret 1783, and unidentified female 1785. All being born in the Burke/Lincoln Co NC area except the last female. As Luke Blades moved his family to Abbeville/Old 96 SC in 1784, the four unidentified females, of his household, if daughters, all married/disappeared prior to 1805/6, and thus no doubt in SC Abbeville area. Jane would marry after the move from SC. It has never been proved where, and exact date, for death of Luke Blades, as his wife, Catherine, and at least half of his family, moved upto Indiana Territory 1806/7, stopping only "overnight" in Kentucky, but Luke Blades was never recorded/documented/listed anywhere after NC ca1804/5.
