Delighted to hear from you, as I have been hunting for your side of the family for a long time. Your Grandfather (Ernest Vyvyan Blaydes) was the younger brother of my own Grandfather (Leslie Seymour Blaydes) I live in Portsmouth UK, but my father now lives in Perth WA, and his sister's family abt 200km east of there. I got interested in the Family Tree from a copy originally developed by your grandfather following on work by a cousin of his (Frederick Augustus Blaydes) who was very much interested in Genealogy and was an important member of the Genealogical Society in UK.
