While we are clearing up the spelling of names, here is proof that Sophia was HILES.
Benjamin F. Blades Death Certificate, Bracken CO # 18401 May 24 1915 filed out by Richard Blades of Bradford KY lists the mother of Benjamin as Sophia HILES b Bracken CO, KY. Richard lists the father as Zadock Blades, b NJ and the birthplace of Benjamin as Dover, KY March , 1832. Benjamin is buried in Oddfellows Cemetery, Falmouth, Pendleton CO, KY.
