I am looking for the parents of William F. Blackwood who was born about 1825 in Orange County, NC. Wm. married Mary Anne Johnson (b. 1829) and he died in 1894. We descend from William's son, Patrick Dowd Blackwood b.1869. William 1825 seems to fit into the descendants of William Blackwood (1737 or 1747) who married Margaret King b. 1755 but we have not yet been able to establish the link.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
