Nothing like thinking I guessed right in trying to learn why my aunt and uncle had olive skin and why there are a lot Indian traits in my family.I know some traits come from my mother's people, but figured out I needed some NA genes from my father to keep them going.I'm from Elizabeth Craig, b. 1759, SC, d. Fulton Co., IL,and Lt. Nathan Veatch.Elizabeth was from Wm. Craig and Eliz. Blackwood.
I'm from Nathan's son Isaac and I have Eleanor as one of his sisters. Nathan was descended from a 1,000 years of British and European royalty.
I'm dying to know just how much NA blood I get from that Craig-Blackwood part of my family.I got considerable from my mothers Casteel-Friend-DeWitt.People look at my sister and assume she'd full-blooded Indian.
I know Craigs and Blackwoods married back and forth and hope somebody can help me out on the lineage.Roberta Hart Dutton, [email protected]
