I have information regarding the immigration of Wm. Blackwood. I believe he sailed on the ship "George and Ann" on 4 May 1729, and landed in what is now New Castle, DE on 9 Sept 1729. He possibly traveled in the company of the Johnstons, Craigs, Freelands, Strayhorns, Mebanes, Kirklands, and others. It is thought that most of these families were closely associated and lived near each other in Ulster, Ireland. I would be willing to trade any information I have.
