I am a granddaughter of Adolphus Asbury Blackwelder and Mary Frances Mcnairy Blackwelder of Lenoir, N.C. My father,Bruce Keith had Three brothers; Dwight,Verne,and Wayne. I have spoken to Vernes Daughter Barbara and Waynes son Wayne jr. by phone in recent years, but have never met any of my cousins personaly. I would love to hear from any member of the Adolphus Blackwelder branch or any other Blackwelder. I have an intense desire to know about the history of the Blackwelder clan and especially the decendents of Caleb Blackwelder. I would also like to know what other european nationalities besides german we have in our blood line.
