Denise,
I am a Blackwelder descendant too & have researched all the lines. My info. indicates that Lydia Miranda Blackwelder, daughter of Allen Monroe Blackwelder, grew up in Davie County, NC and married there. All the Blackwelders started in Cabarrus County, including Lydia's grandfather Daniel Blackwelder. But Lydia's parents, Allen & Martha settled in Stanly County, NC. They were living there in 1850. They had moved to Davie County by 1860 & remained there all their lives. Lydia and her sister Emily married brothers Benjamin and Jacob Green and both families moved to MO. Birthplaces listed on ancestry.com indicate Emily & Jacob moved to MO about 1894. It could be that both couples moved together.
That's about the closest I can come to help. Glad to share any further info.
