Blackwelder, Cabarrus County, North Carolina
In my research into the House families of which I am related to I fell into the curiousity of looking into a lot of the other old time families that settled in Cabarrus, in Rowan, and in Mecklenberg and decided to do a little history into them: such as Barringer, Lipe, Bost, Freeze, and Faggart/Faggert. Although my House is of African American and Cherokee descent, I also respect the fact that German also is there. And yes there are African American Blackwelders. Okay? Joseph
