I am a 5th-great-grandson of John Adam Blackwelder (b. 1715). His daughter Mary was married about 1769 in Mecklenburg (now Cabarrus) County, NC to John Shaver. See the web page http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/6359/shaver/shaver.html.
