I am trying to find information on my maternal gr-gr grandmother Sarah Blackstone married Edward Wilson Merrill 1792-1877 Pownal,Cumberland Maine. Their son Edward P. Merrill 1835 married Marie K. Noyes b.1835.
Did Edward P. serve in the Civil war?
They traveled overland by wagon to Virginia City, NV where my grandfather Alfred E. Merrill was born in 1865.
