I recently found that a R.D. BLACKSTONE is listed on the record regarding Cherokee removal. On June 3, 1837 R.D. was paid $115 for 3 flat-bottomed boats furnished for Cherokee removal. I wondered if this is the same person as Richard BLACKSTONE who is shown on the census with Hannah BLACKSTONE. If anyone has any more information, please contact me and note my email address has changed.
