I am researching this line too...trying to tie it into Zachry/Zachary's, Clairborn/Clyborn/Clayborne etc and Wright's going to Kentucky. I have this information that pertains to Stogill/Sturgill.

also found this

Argyle Blackstone, d. after 1719, married Elizabeth Armstrong. His daughter Ann allegedly married James Stodgill/Sturgill ca. 1723 in Orange co. VA
