I have a Mary Blackstone b. c. 1771 and d. abt 1859. She md. Thomas W. Newman Sep 19, 1792 in Columbia Co, Ga. Her parents were either James or John Blackstone and Winifred Zachry.
An amount of money was paid to James Blackstone from the estate settlement of Thomas W. Newman in 1858.
I am trying to tie in the son of Thomas W. Newman and Mary Blackstone, William B. (b. 1794 md. Sarah Anderson, 2nd Dicy Washington) with my g-grandfather, Thomas Beck Newman b. 1845.
