I have a Harmon Blackmer McWain in my family tree. He is the husband of Amanda Melvina Coolidge who was born in Plymouth, Vermont August 16, 1830. Amanda's parents were Luther Coolidge and Betsey Emeline Jenne. She was married to Harmon in October of 1850. I'm guessing that Harmon's mother's maiden name might have been Blackmer, as it's a strange name in and of itself. Harmon and Amanda had Jennie R. McWain (b. 1852) who married Merritt Angelo Sawyer.
Any help in trying to figure out who Harmon's parents were would be greatly appreciated!
