From Margaret Curfman's Doubleday Families of America :
Alven M. Smith, Three Blackmore Generations, 1930, p. 22 states that Sophia Blackmer, who died in Dana, Mass., married Dec. 2, 1818, Dana, Mass., Elisha Doubleday; that the farm of Solomon Blackmer has been owned and cocupied by the Doubleday family, descendants of his daughter sophia and Elisha Doubleday.I haven't found any Ira mentioned in her work.
