From Margaret Curfman's Doubleday Families of America :
Alven M. Smith, Three Blackmore Generations, 1930, p. 22 states that Sophia Blackmer, who died in Dana, Mass., married Dec. 2, 1818, Dana, Mass., Elisha Doubleday; that the farm of Solomon Blackmer has been owned and cocupied by the Doubleday family, descendants of his daughter sophia and Elisha Doubleday.
I haven't found any Ira mentioned in her work.
