"BLACKMER, Elton M.—Of Davison, age 80, died Sunday, November 9, 1997 at the Michigan Masonic Home, Alma. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Thursday, November 13, 1997 at the Hudson Funeral Home. Rev. Dorothy Rossman officiating. Burial in Smith Hill Cemetery. Eastern Star Memorial services will be held at 7 PM Wednesday, Masonic Memorial services will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday. He married Pearl Newcomb on April 12, 1942. He was a member of Otisville Lodge #401 F. & A.M., Bay City Scottish Rite Consistory, Davison Chapter #299 O.E.S., Flint Shrine #56 W.S. of J. Flint #3 Post D.A.V., Richfield United Methodist Church. He was a Watch Maker in the Flint and Lapeer areas. Surviving are: wife, Pearl; 2 half sisters; a step sister and a half-brother."
