My branch of the family originated in South Devon but I have only gone back about 5 generations.
My grandfather moved to Liverpool at the turn of the 1900s as he was at sea with Liverpool companies. My father was born there but I was born outside Plymouth as my father was in the RN and based there during WW2. I believe there is a link with the old Blackler store family that was in Liverpool but I have not traced that yet.
There may be a link between us somewhere.
