Hi Carolyn,
My name is Nigel Blackler from NZ.
The Blackler name originated in Devon, possibly as Blackaller, and spread around the world from there, with many involved in seafaring. The Cornwall Blacklers were possibly involved in mining and related trades.
There are quite a few of us around the world who are trying to collect as much info as we can on Blackler families, and perhaps tie as many as we can together. Somewhere there is a common link that brings us all together.
If you wish to find out more about yoour family, there are many of us who will assist where we can.
regards, Nigel
