Blackler, saddlers from Yealmpton, Devon

I am not related to any Blacklers (that I know of) but my mum has a set of horsebrasses that belonged to my g.grandmother...they were made by Blackler of Yealmpton. I have found John Higston Blackler a saddler in Yealmpton at the 1891 census does anybody know if it would have been him that made the brasses ? if so I would like any info about him that you have, in exchange I will take a photo of the brasses for anyone interested.
