I have an old letter to my Ggrandfather Albert AAron Womack , from his brother, which states that we are related to "Icabod Blacklidge". It was written in 1902 the purpose was to pass our roots to Albert.
The letter states"Icabod Blacklidge,father of grandmother Womack,was born in New Jersey Jan 1,1745.Her brothers and sisters was Richard,Jacob,Nancy,Billy,Hannah and James. Billy married a Miss Waggoner. Icabod married Susan Woodruff.Four of the Blacklidge boys live in Anderson Ind.,one girl in Iowa,one at 366 n.Allabamy(Alabama),at indianapolis,In."
Scince some or all of these names appear on this forum as children of Icabod, I feel that the info is correct,though incomplete.
Does anyone know the name of Icabod and Susans daugther who married Jesse Womack?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
