Here are some sources you might want to try, if you haven't already:
1. The Allegheny Regional Family History Society
“The ALLEGHENY REGIONAL FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY library is housed in the Randolph County Historical Society Museum in a room adjoining the Historical Society's library. Both libraries are well equipped, and both have numerous volumes of interest to family historians and genealogists. Publications by both organizations are available for purchase in their respective libraries. Hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Wednesday. Special arrangements can be made by calling (304) 636-1958 or (304) 636-1959.”
2. You might want to obtain a copy of the book _The History of Randolph County, West Virginia
from Its Earliest Settlement to the Present, Embracing Records of All the Leading Families . . ._
3. You no doubt have searched this record of the Stalnaker Family, which has several references to an “Andrew Stalnaker.” http://www.swcp.com/~dhickman/articles/stalnaker.html
4. There is an “Andrew Stalnaker” listed in the “Randolph County Land Book 1802.”
A very preliminary review indicates that an "Andrew Stalnaker" died circa 1840. If such was the case, it is theoretically possible that he could have served in the BHW in 1832.
Good luck... Bob
