Geri,

I don't suppose you could tell me if there was a John Patton who served in the BH? In 1830, he was living with his family in Gallia County, Ohio - in 1840, the rest of the family turns up (after a stint through Illinois) in Barry County, Missouri, but no John. I know some of the men that married John's sisters served, so I'm wondering if he also did and died? Any input will be greatly appreciated!
