Kathleen Burger: I thank you for your response to my query. In the period of time from my posting many years ago, you are the only one to reply. Since then I have discovered many things about my great-grandfather and great-grand mother, John Ingram and Helen Blackhall, and their descendants here in the United States. Unfortunately, I do not have all the information on all of their children; William Alexander Ingram(1965); Alexander Ingram(1868; John A. Ingram(1869); Elizabeth Forbes Blackhall Ingram(1874); Helen Ingram (1879) and Mary Ann Ingram(1883)
I have found some members of the family and their descendants that had emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Helen Blackhall (1843-1930) was the daughter of Peter Blackhall(1804-1888) and Margaaret McWilliam(1819-1875) I can furnish information directly from rleger@cfl.rr.com, or via my Web Page at:
