I am trying to trace "Blackfords" of the Tunbridge Wells, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Green St Green, Bromley area. My grandfather's name was Henry Owen born 1908 to 1911 (not sure of correct year) he was 1 of 11 siblings 5 others of whom were Frederick, Charles, Thomas, Connie and Eileen / Irene. Their father (name unknown) was born of a farming family in Sussex. He was disowned by his family because he married the "maid". He and the maid moved to Kent. Henry Owen married Olive Fannie Wadey, their children were Sidney Owen, Doris Margaret, Dennis Henry, Douglas Brian, and John. Does this fit with any of your info as Elisha may be one of my missing links being she is from the correct area. Cheers from Australia. Kevin
