Could you please help me, there are so many James Blackfords listed on this site and others, I only need to fine one. I met many years ago when I lived in San Diego, California.....a James (Jimmy) R.Blackford, he was 20-21 at the time, and I was 19....we were involved into a (what I thought) serious relationship and it ended suddenly, I was never able to get ahold of him on his ship that he was stationed on in the Navy, the U.S.S. Reasoner. I would not be doing this search if it were not for my oldest daughter feels the strong need to know her background and roots, she is due to be a mother this december and wants to know her roots for her child to know also. I would like to be able to locate the "right" James Blackford in hopes that he at least get to know the daughter that he missed out on her growing into a woman. Family is very important, wish he would have let me tell him but he left my life suddenly, PLEASE can you help me locate him for my daughter sake and my grandson to be???? Sincerely,
