Looking for information on James Blackford est B.1828 in New Jersey, son of Samuel Blackford and Sarah Williams. James married 3 times 1st wife unknown, 2nd Mary P. Wheat,James married his 3rd wife Matilda Jame Kirkendoll Moran, daughter of John Kirkendoll and Matilda Powers on December 14,1879 in Sullivan Illinois Moultrie County. James died Jan. 8, 1903 Moultrie County. Buried in Daugherty Cemetery in Moultrie County. Served in Civil war Pvt. 51st OH Inf.
