Looking for info about Benjamin Blackford who by way of one of our old family bibles states he married Susanne Galatin, daughter of Albert Alfonso Galatin. Albert Galatin had a residence in Fayette County, PA named Friendship Hill (now a National Historic Site). Benjamin and Susanne Galatin lived from time to time in Georges Township, Fayette County, PA and eventually moved to Indiana (Blackford County?) where both died in 1838.
Per our Old Family Bible:
Benjamin Blackford b. 6 Dec 1805 d. 5 Aug 1838
Susanne (Galatin) Blackford b. 24 Jul 1803 d. 22 Sep 1838
Married Jan or Jun 1824.
Any information would help.
